Today's Workout: Shut up and move
Ugh! Long run today which usually I'm up for but today's course featured a lot of hills. My legs were sore from yesterday's hilly ride and the soreness was not resolved in my swim as would normally be the case. My internal voice was begging me to stop or cut the run short. It complained with every footfall much like it complained with every stroke of my swim yesterday. Sometimes you just have to tell yourself to shut up and get moving--focus on moving forward.
Mission accomplished, 90 minute run done. Trust me it was not an easy workout today. Tomorrow, rest for the weary bones.
